Its finally spring here! I love spring time, mostly after all of the wetness has gone away. I like the fresh smells in the air the budding plants. Day time is getting longer, which means more light! Which means more time to take photographs in great lighting. The sun didn't go down till around 2 am. It just hovered just under the horizon, so I don't have hard light to deal with.

I have been away for a while. I lost my camera in September of last year. omgosh that's more than 7 months ago. I have been taking pictures more and more nowadays since I have my wonderful Canon Powershort S3IS. Mine seems like a dinosaur compared to the cameras out there. It gets the job done, really well actually. I live in Nome, Alaska. Spring is around the corner. I will soon be having a child to take pictures of. I'm sure I'll fill my hard drive with pictures of my son. His name is Daniel. He is named after my father who pasted away 7 years ago.
